Introduction

Look up a CURP in RENAPO or find it by personal data. REST/JSON responses include registered identity, certification status, and associated CURPs.

CURPCheck is a REST API for Mexican CURP numbers. Look up a CURP in RENAPO to confirm its registered identity, or find a CURP by personal data. Use it in onboarding, KYC, payroll, or any flow that collects a CURP.

What you can do

POST /curp/lookup

The identity RENAPO has registered for the CURP: names, birth date, and status.

POST /curp/search

Name, birth date, sex, and state in; the CURP RENAPO has registered out.

One account for CURP and RFC

CURPCheck runs on the same platform as RFCCheck. Your account, API keys, plan, and balance are shared, so the key you use here also calls the RFC endpoints (SAT registration, taxpayer profile, postal code, SAT lists) documented on rfccheck.com.

Conventions

  • All endpoints are POST, accept JSON, and return JSON.
  • Base URL: https://curpcheck.com/v1
  • Authentication: pass x-api-key on every request.
  • CURPs are case-insensitive; surrounding whitespace is ignored. Responses always return the CURP in uppercase.
